The Unitek Y-278 active extension cable allows you to connect USB 2.0 devices for 10 meters and more. This is possible thanks to the amplifier built into the cable. Unitek Y-278 is made of the best materials to ensure optimal operation. The cable is made of 100% copper and uses premium chipsets. Thanks to the USB 2.0 compatibility, the amplifier enables transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps.
Better LTE, DVB-T signal
An active extension cable is often used to improve LTE or DVB-T signals. We usually have a notebook or computer at a desk, which can be away from the window, at which there is usually the strongest range. By placing an LTE or DVB-T modem by the window, we can connect it to a distant computer using Unitek Y-278.
Additional power supply
The USB plug is double. For most applications, it is enough to connect the main plug. However, if the current normally transmitted via USB 2.0 0 turns out to be too weak, thanks to the additional plug we are able to provide additional power up to 1A. This will be useful for a user who connects power-hungry devices such as an external HDD.
