PSF STEELOX roughing disc for machining steel and stainless steel
Material: soft, synthetic resin binder reinforced with fibers. No added fillers containing iron, chlorine and sulfur compounds. Standard hole 22.23 mm.
Application: ideal for surface grinding, butt joint grinding, fillet welding, chamfering, deburring and grouting.
Corundum (A30), medium hard, for machining steel and stainless steel.
High wear resistance and high grinding performance.
Important tip for stainless steel processing:
When processing stainless steel , it is recommended to use tools that do not contain iron and sulfur compounds. Tools previously used for machining ordinary steel are not suitable for machining stainless steel. On the tool remain the remnants of ordinary steel. These residues damage any type of stainless steel alloy and can corrode the stainless steel workpiece. Even sparks generated during the processing of normal steel can settle on stainless steel alloys and corrode it.
