General tip: TORX PLUS® tools have an advantage over TORX® tools due to the torque transmitted due to the much larger contact surfaces in the screw head.
The TORX and TORX PLUS systems are only compatible in one direction: with a conventional TORX tool, you can also (to a limited extent) screw and unscrew the TORX®® PLUS®® socket screws. However, TORX PLUS® cannot work with a TORX® profile.
Application: ductile and hard design, especially for twisting metals and sheets.
